What is proposed?
Notice of application for the grant of a Premises
Licence under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that Heron Foods Limited has
applied to Kirklees Council for the grant of a Premises
Licence in respect of premises to be known as Heron Foods,
Unit 5, The Northgate Retail Centre, Heckmondwike,
WF16 9RL. The proposed licensable activities and their
hours are the sale of alcohol off the premises Monday to
Saturday 08:00 to 21:00 and Sunday 08:00 to 20:00. The
opening hours of the premises will be Monday to Saturday
08:00 to 21:00 and Sunday 08:00 to 20:00. Interested
parties and responsible authorities may make
representations regarding the application where they
believe that the proposed activities would undermine any
of the four licensing objectives. Any representations must
be submitted in writing to the Licensing Office, Flint Street
Depot, Flint Street, Fartown, Huddersfield, HD1 6LG or by

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false
statement in connection with an application. The maximum
fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for
the offence is unlimited.
