What is proposed?

We the Trustees of Halwill Parish Hall give notice that we have applied to Torrridge District Council, as Licensing Authority for a grant of a new premises Licence in respect of Halwill Parish Hall, Halwill Junction, Beaworthy, EX21 5XU.

The application is to propose licensable activities: Supply of alcohol On and Off the premises Monday to Saturday 10:00 to 00:00 Sunday 11:00 to 23:00 Regulated Entertainment: Monday to Saturday 08:00 to 01:00 Sunday 08:00 to 00:00 Late Night Refreshment Monday to Saturday 23:00 to 01:00 Sunday 23:00 to 00:00.

Representations about this application must be made in writing to the Licensing Authority at the address opposite by: 24 November 2025. A copy of the application may be viewed at the Torridge Council Offices, Riverbank House, Bideford between 9.00 am and 4.30 pm.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine on summary conviction is £5000.
