Notice is hereby given that B & M Retail Limited has applied to Cumberland Council (Licensing Authority) on 13 October 2025 for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of B&M Store, (Former Wilko), The Lowther Went Shopping Ctr, South Street, Cockermouth CA13 9RT to allow off sales of alcohol and opening hours from 07:00 to 23:00 7 days a week.
Any person intending to make relevant representations on this application should submit them in writing within 28 days from the date of this notice being displayed on the above premises (by no later than 10 November 2025) to: Licensing Department, Cumberland Council, Allerdale House, Workington, Cumbria CA14 3YJ or by emailing to: licens-ing@allerdale.gov.uk. The full application can be viewed at Allerdale House, Workington, CA14 3YJ between the hours of 10.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.
IT IS AN OFFENCE, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application for which you may be liable to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale on summary of conviction which is un-limited.
