What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003 NOTICE OF APPLICATION

FOR A PREMISES LICENCE UNDER SECTION 17

Notice is hereby given that on the 15th October 2025 Ei Group Limited applied to Mid Suffolk District Council for a Premises Licence in respect of premises Swan Inn, Low Street, Hoxne, Eye IP21 5AS. The proposed licensable activities are;-

  1. The provision of plays, live music and recorded music on Mondays to Sundays between the hours of 12.00 and 23.00.

  2. The supply of alcohol on Sundays to Thursdays between the hours of 10.00 and 24.00 and Friday and Saturday between the hours of 10.00 and 01.00.

  3. To permit late night refreshment on Sundays to Thursdays between the hours of 23.00 and 00.30 and Friday and Saturday between the hours of 23.00 and 01.30.

  4. The above hours are extended by an hour on specified occasions.

  5. The premises will open for licensable activities at 10.00 and close 30 minutes after the last permitted time for alcohol sales.

Any representations by a responsible authority or any other person regarding this application must be received in writing by:- Licensing Team, Mid Suffolk District Council (as the Licensing Authority) at Endeavour House, 8 Russell Road, Ipswich IP1 2BX, or by e-mail to licensingteam@baberghmidsuffolk.gov.uk  no later than the 12th November 2025 stating the grounds for representations.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
