What is proposed?

Licensing Act 2003: notice of application to vary a Premises Licence To All Whom It May Concern

NOTICE is hereby given that Prez Ed Limited has made an application to Brighton & Hove City Council on 13 October 2025 under the Licensing Act 2003 to vary a premises licence for Presuming Ed Coffee House, 114-115 London Road, Brighton, BN1 4JG.

The application is to vary the premises licence by extending the hours for licensable activities to 01:00 every day with closing half an hour later and to extend the hours of use in respect of the external courtyard to 23:00 every day. It is also to remove, add and alter various conditions under Annex 3 of the premises licence.

Any person who wishes to make a representation about this application should do so in writing to the above address or by email no later than 10 November 2025 clearly stating the grounds upon which the representation is made relevant to the Licensing Act.

It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in or in connection with an application for a premises and this carries a level 5 fine on being convicted of such an offence.
