Licensing Act 2003 Notice of application for a New Premises Licence

What is proposed?

Applicant: GCK Foods Limited. Premises: Fireleaf Tonic, 4 Waterloo Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 4DG. Notice is hereby given that GCK Foods Limited has applied on the 21st October 2025 to Newcastle City Council for a New Premises Licence application under the LicensingAct 2003. The application sought is for: sale of alcohol (on the premises only) 12:00 to 00.30 daily, recorded music 08.00 to 01.00 daily and late night refreshment 23.00 to 01.00 daily. The opening hours of the premises will be 08.00 to 01.00 daily. Conditions will apply. Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application must give notice in writing to the Licensing Department, Newcastle City Council, Civic Centre, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 8QH. Representations must be received no later than 18th November 2025. The application record and register may be viewed during normal office hours at the above address or at www.newcastle.gov.uk.

It is an offence for anyone to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
