What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003 Application for a Premises Licence

Notice is hereby given that an application has been made to Brighton & Hove City Council by Jonathan Harries for a Premises Licence in respect of: Shine, Gloucester Road, Brighton, BN1 4AF.

The application seeks authorisation for the following licensable activity:

Sale of alcohol (on and off the premises):

1. Monday to Saturday: 10:00 - 20:00

2. Sunday: Closed

The applicant proposes to sell exclusive wines only, in conjunction with the operation of a premium hair salon.

Any person wishing to make representations in relation to this application may do so in writing to the Licensing Team, Brighton & Hove City Council, Bartholomew House, Bartholomew Square, Brighton, BN1 1JP, or by email to EHL.licensing@brighton-hove.gov.uk. Representations must be received no later than 7 November 2025.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with this application. A person guilty of such an offence is liable on summary conviction to a fine up to level 5 on the standard scale.
