Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that The City Pub Group Limited in respect of Premises known as The Westgate, 2 Romsey Road, Winchester, Hampshire, SO23 8TP applied to Winchester City Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence. The proposed variation is: To vary the premises licence to amend the supply of alcohol hours (on and off) to commence at 08:00 Monday to Sunday and to include any non-standard timings. All other licensable activities, permitted hours, opening hours and conditions to remain as existing. Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by Head of Licensing, Winchester City Council, City Offices, Colebrook Street, Winchester, SO23 9LJ or by e-mail licensing@winchester.gov.uk no later than 3rd November 2025 stating the grounds for representation. The register of Winchester City Council and the record of the application may be inspected at the address of the council, given above, during normal business hours or if it is available on the council’s website at - www.winchester.gov.uk

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
