What is proposed?
Notice of application for the grant of a Premises Licence under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that Amber Taverns Limited has applied to Wiltshire Council for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of Premises to be known as Cooper & Co. Social Tap, 40 Blue Boar Row, Salisbury, SP1 1DA. The proposed licensable activities and their hours are to permit the sale of alcohol for consumption both on and off the premises and regulated entertainment indoors Sunday to Thursday 1000 to Midnight, Friday and Saturday 1000 to 0100 the following morning; opening hours to be Sunday to Thursday 1000 to 0030 the following morning, Friday and Saturday 1000 to 0130 the following morning. All activities to be extended from the end of permitted hours on New Year’s Eve to the start of permitted hours on New Year’s Day and an additional hour for non-standard days as listed in the application lodged with Wiltshire Council. Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by email to
publicprotectionnorth@wiltshire.gov.uk or by post to The Licensing Authority, Wiltshire Council, Public Protection, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge, BA14 8JN no later than 4th November 2025 stating the grounds for representation. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
