What is proposed?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an application has been made to the licensing authority of East Hampshire District Council for a premises licence under section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003.
Details of the application are as follows:
Name of Applicant: Shalden Village Hall CIO
Postal address of premises: Southwood Rd, Shalden
Brief description of application for premises licence: The Village Hall ClO is applying for a licence to serve alcohol at occasional events sponsored by the committee. This will enable it to raise funds for events such as the annual village fireworks display and the upkeep and maintenance of the hall and grounds. Relevant events will only be held within the following times: Plays Friday and Saturday 17.00 - 00.00, Sunday 17.00-21.00 Films Mon - Thu 17.00-23.00, Fri - Sat 17.00 - 00.00, Sun 17.00-21.00 Live music Fri - Sat 17.00-00.00 Recorded music Mon - Thu 17.00 - 23.00, Fri- Sat 17.00-00.00, Sun 17.00-21.00 Dance Fri-Sat 17.00-00.00 Late night refreshment Fri-Sat 23.00-00.00 Supply of alcohol Mon-Thu 17.00-23.00, Fri-Sat 17.00-00.00, Sun 17.00-21.00
A copy of the statutory register may be inspected during normal office hours at the address shown below or by viewing the licensing public register at www.easthants.gov.uk
Any responsible authority or any other person wishing to make representations on this matter must submit those representations in writing to Licensing, Environmental Health, PO Box 310, Petersfield, Hampshire GU32 9HN. Written representations may also be made by email to: licensing@easthants.gov.uk
Representations must be received by 11 November 25. ANY REPRESENTATIONS WILL BE NOTIFIED TO THE APPLICANT AND WILL BE CONSIDERED BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY. Please note that it is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application, and on summary conviction for the offence, a person is liable to a fine, the maximum fine is unlimited.
