What is proposed?

Breakthrough Bars NUL Ltd is varying a premises
licence at the Strangled Cat, 38 Ironmarket, Newcastle,
ST5 1PB to extend alcohol Mon-Sun 12:00-01:00;
live and recorded music and late night refreshment
Mon-Sun 23:00-01:00 and amend conditions.
Representations in writing to Newcastle under Lyme
Borough Council Licensing Department, Castle Hse,
Barracks Rd, Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST5 1BL or
by email licensing@newcastle-staffs.gov.uk on or
before 29/10/2025 and be relevant to the Licensing
Act 2003 Objectives: Public Safety, the Protection
of Children from Harm, the Prevention of Crime and
Disorder, and the Prevention of Public Nuisance.
A person commits an offence if they knowingly or
recklessly make a false statement in connection
with this application and may incur a fine.
The application can be viewed by appointment.
