Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003
What is proposed?
Notice is hereby given that Vue Entertainment Limited in respect of Premises known as Vue Cinema, The Printworks, Withy Grove, Manchester, M4 2BS has applied to Manchester City Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence. The proposed variation is to replace the registered plan to permit changes to the seating layout in the auditoria.
The upgraded seating will result in a lower occupancy capacity in each of the auditoria; to permit the showing of films and the opening of the premises to the public for 24 hours a day each day; to permit the provision of late night refreshment to 2300 – 0500. There will be no change to the hours for the sale of alcohol.
Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by Manchester City Council, Premises Licensing, Level 1, Town Hall Extension, Albert Square, Manchester, PO Box 532, M60 2LA or by e-mail to premises.licensing@manchester.gov.uk, no later than 4th November 2025 stating the grounds for representation. The register of Manchester City Council and the record of the application may be inspected at the address of the council, given above, by appointment only during normal business hours or on the council’s website – www.manchester.gov.uk
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
