What is proposed?

Take notice that Accrington & District Golf Club has
applied to Hyndburn Borough Council under the
Licensing Act 2003 for a Premises Licence/Club
Premises Certificate in respect of premises known
as Accrington & District Golf Club, Devon Avenue,
West End, Oswaldtwistle, Accrington BB5 4LS.
Details of the application are as follows:- The application
is to have the permission to hold functions and serve
alcohol between 10.00am & 02.00am, Monday to
Sunday for the Clubhouse and halfway-house building.
The place where the record of the application may
be inspected and where the register of the Licensing
Authority is kept is the Licensing Department,
Hyndburn Borough Council, Scaitcliffe House,
Ormerod Street, Accrington Lancashire. BB5 0PF.
The record of the application may be inspected between 9
am and 4pm Monday to Friday.
An interested party or responsible authority may make
a representation in writing to the Licensing Manager,
Hyndburn Borough Council, Scaitcliffe House, Ormerod
Street, Accrington, BB5 0PF by 11th November 2025.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a
false statement in connection with an application
and the maximum fine for which a person is liable
on summary conviction for the offence is level
5 on the Standard Scale, currently £5,000.
