What is proposed?

APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that PLK Chicken UK Ltd has applied to Newport CC for a Premises Licence for Popeyes Unit 20, Newport Retail Pk, Spytty Rd, Newport NP19 4QQ to provide for late night refreshment on and off daily 11pm until 4am.

A register of licensing applications can be inspected at the address below. Any person wishing to submit representations to this application must give notice in writing to the licensing team @ Newport CC, PO Box 883, Civic Centre, Newport NP20 9LR giving in detail the grounds of objection by 2 November 2025. Copies of all representations will be included in the papers presented to the Licensing Panel and will therefore pass into the public domain. Representations must relate to one of the four Licensing Objectives: the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance and the protection of children from harm.

It is an offence liable on conviction to an unlimited fine under the Licensing Act 2003 to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application.
