What is proposed?
LICENSING ACT 2003 NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR VARIATION OF PREMISES LICENCE NOTICE IS GIVEN THAT SE1
Sunset Ltd has applied to Lambeth Council on 7th October 2025 to vary the premises licence at Waterloo Rooftop, Eighth Floor, Elizabeth House, 39 York Road, London, SE1 7NQ so as to vary the terminal hour for indoor licensable activities (alcohol, late night refreshment and recorded music) by 30minutes to 01:30hrs and closing time to 02:00 (the morning following) on Friday and Saturday nights only in accordance with Planning Consent 25/00743/FUL granted by the Planning Committee and dated 24 September 2025. The application does not propose any changes to the permitted hours on Sundays – Thursdays or in respect of external areas. All existing premises licence conditions will continue to promote the Licensing Objectives as more particularly set out in the application.
Any person who wishes to make a representation in relation to this application must give notice in writing to: Licensing Section, London Borough of Lambeth, 3rd Floor Civic Centre, 6 Brixton Hill, London, SW2 1EG, to be received by no later than 3rd November 2025 stating the grounds for making
said representation. The register and a record of the application can be inspected on the Council’s website www.lambeth.gov.uk or by appointment at the Council’s offices during office hours.
It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in or in connection with an application for a premises licence and the maximum fine on being convicted of such an offence is unlimited.
