Notice of application for a Premises Licence

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an application has been made to the licensing authority of Fareham Borough Council for a premises licence under section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003 Details of the application are as follows:

Name of Applicant: D Stewart & Son Ltd

Postal address of premises: Stewarts Abbey Garden Centre, Mill Lane, Titchfield, Fareham, PO15 5RB

Brief description of proposed licensable activities at the premises:

Application to vary a premises licence. Amend the hours for sale of alcohol to the below: Mon-Sat 08.30-17.30 Sun 10.00-16.30

Seasonal Variations: Bank holidays will be 8am open. Late night shopping on maximum 6 times a year extension to 21:30 for sale of alcohol on these occasions.

A copy of the statutory register may be inspected during normal office hours at the address shown below. Any responsible authority or interested party wishing to make representations on this matter must submit those representations in writing to: The Licensing Officer, Fareham Borough Council, Civic Offices, Civic Way, Fareham, PO16 7AZ by no later than 28 days from the date of this notice. The closing date for representations is: 30th October 2025

ANY REPRESENTATIONS WILL BE NOTIFIED TO THE APPLICANT AND WILL BE CONSIDERED BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application. Such an offence is liable to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale (£5,000).
