What is proposed?

Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Epic Bars (Bath) Ltd in respect of premises known as Labyrinth, Basement, 8-9 North Parade, Bath, BA2 4AL, applied to Bath & North East Somerset Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence.

The proposed variation is to extend the permitted hours for the Sale of Alcohol on the premises and the provision for regulated entertainment (to include Live Music, Recorded Music, Performances of Dance and anything of a similar description) on a Sunday only from the current hours of 12:00 to 22:30 to the proposed hours of 10:00 to 03:00 the following morning.

To add the provision for Late Night Refreshment on a Sunday for the hours 23:00 to 03:00 the following morning.

The opening hours on a Sunday will be 10:00 to 03:30 the following morning. All other hours to remain unchanged.

Notification of the application made to the Licensing Authority is available on a register at www.bathnes.gov.uk/licensing-register.

Representations should be made in writing to: Bath & North East Somerset Council, Licensing Services, Lewis House, Manvers Street, Bath, BA1 1JG, or by email to licensing@bathnes.gov.uk, by 30 October 2025.

Representations made will be disclosed in an open meeting should a hearing be necessary.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
