Application To Vary A Premises Licence
Notice is hereby given, that an application was made to
Melton Borough Council for a Variation to a Premises
Licence under the above Act on 2/10/2025. Applicant(s)
Name: Edin Gondzic. Address of Premises: Lily of the Vale
(previously The Plough Inn), 12 Main Street, Stathern,
Melton Mowbray, LE14 4HW. Proposed Licensable
Activities: Supply of Alcohol Regulated Entertainment.
Late Night Refreshment: Proposed Days and Hours:
1. Supply of Alcohol - Monday to Sunday inclusive to
commence at 10:00 hours, to include the morning of New
Year's Eve (as opposed to 11:00 or 12:00 on Sundays). On
Good Friday 10:00 to 23:00 hours, and on Christmas Day
from noon until 22:30 hours (effectively removing the
current break in hours between 15:00 and 19:00). Supply
of Alcohol in the external areas to be permitted from 10:00
to 23:00 hours Monday to Saturday; 10:00 to 22:30 on
Sunday (This is to allow the use of a mobile bar from time
to time and, at the rear, a mobile bar and from time to time
a tent or marquee). 2. Recorded music (which was
previously unrestricted as an embedded right) to be
permitted Monday to Saturday 10:00 to 00:00; Sunday
10:00 to 23:30, and New Years Eve until 02:00 on New
Years Day. 3. Live music on New Years Eve to be extended
until 02:00 on New Years Day. 4. Late night refreshment
(which was previously allowed as an embedded right) to be
permitted Monday to Saturday 23:00 to 00:00; Sunday
23:00 to 23:30 and New Years Eve until 02:00 on New
Years Day. Other Proposed Changes: 1. To update the
deposited licensing plans to licence the external areas at the
front and rear of the pub for the supply of alcohol as stated
above. 2. To extend the existing internal licensable activities
(supply of alcohol, regualted entertainment and late night
refreshment) and hours (as amended by this application) to
the first floor to allow for it to be used in the future as a
function space. (This might be for a variety of function

date of the application above. The final day for
