What is proposed?

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A VARIATION TO THE PREMISES LICENCE

Premises: The Last Resort, 174 Heaton Road, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, NE6 5HP

Notice is given that Rugglers Ltd. applied to Newcastle City Council on 29th September 2025 for a variation to the premises licence for the above premises, to amend the layout with an extension of the seating area into the basement.

Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application must give notice in writing to:- Licensing Authority, Newcastle City Council, Public Safety and Regulation, Civic Centre, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 8QH

Representations must be received by 27th October 2025.

The Application Record and Register may be viewed during normal office hours at the above address or at http://www.newcastle.gov.uk/business/licences-and-permits/public-access-licencing

It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is up to level 5 on the standard scale (£5000).
