LICENSING ACT 2003: APPLICATION TO VARY PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that St Austell Brewery Co Limited has applied in respect of Blue Ball Inn The Beacon Countisbury Hill Lynmouth EX35 6ND for an application to vary the premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to permit the following: This is an application to extend the licensable area shown on the submitted plan, drawing number 19.25.03A. This is to include an external bar and pizza oven. To add a number of conditions onto the licence relating to, staff training, incident & refusal log, challenge 25 and the external bar. To also remove a number of redundant conditions. 

All hours and activities currently permitted by the licence are to remain unchanged. Representations should be received by The Licensing Team, North Devon District Council, Lynton House, Commercial Road, Barnstaple, Devon, EX31 1DG or by email to licensing@northdevon.gov.uk

The Licensing Act 2003 Public Register, Record of Applications and representation form are available on our website at: https://www.northdevon.gov.uk/business/licences-andpermits/entertainment-and-alcohol-licences Or can be viewed at the above premises by appointment only.

Representations must be made by the end of 22 October 2025. Representations received after this date will not be considered. A copy of the application can be viewed at the Licensing Authority’s address during normal office hours It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application. Persons will be liable on summary conviction to an unlimited fine.
