NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE/ CLUB PREMISES CERTIFICATE

Premises 1 South View East, Highfield, Rowlands Gill NE39 2DJ. 

Notice is given that Gauri Shankara LTD has applied to Gateshead Licensing Authority for a Premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003. 

The Licensable activities are: Supply of alcohol (off the premises only) 06:00 – 23:00 Monday – Saturday 06:00 – 21:00 Sunday. 

Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application must give notice in writing to: Licensing Section, Gateshead Council, Civic Centre, Gateshead NE8 1HH. Representations must be received no later than 23 October 2025. 

The Application Record and Register may be viewed by emailing licensing@gateshead.gov.uk or telephoning 0191 433 3918. 

It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is up to level 5 on the standard scale (£5000).
