High Street - Application for a Premises Licence

What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003 

Application has been made by Sweet Shop Vodka Ltd to the Licensing Authority of East Staffordshire Borough Council to vary the Premises Licence for the Crossing at 50 High Street, Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, DE14 1JS. The application includes the following terms:- 

1. Variation to change the internal and external layout of the premises as per the drawings deposited with the Licensing Authority. 

2. To permit recorded music externally. 

3. To delete conditions regarding external speakers and parties. Full details of the Application and the drawing can be viewed at the offices of the Licensing Authority at East Staffordshire Borough Council, The Town Hall, King Edward Place, Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, DE14 2NS. 

A responsible authority or any other person can make written representations to the Licensing Authority at any time up to and including 17th October 2025 (www.eaststaffsbc.gov.uk) It is an offence for anyone knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with a Licence Application. 

The maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
