What is proposed?

Notice of application for the grant of a Premises Licence under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Public Leicester Limited has applied to Leicester City Council for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of Premises to be known as Public, Public, 41 King Street, Leicester, LE1 6RN. The proposed licensable activities and their hours are: 1. Sale of alcohol (on and off the premises) Mondays to Sundays 07:00 – 23:00. 2. Opening hours of the premises will be Mondays to Sundays 07:00 – 23:30. See application for full details.
Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by Leicester City Council, Licensing Officer, City Hall, 115 Charles Street, Leicester, LE1 1FZ or by email to licensing@leicester.gov.uk no later than 20 October 2025 stating the grounds for representation. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
