Notice Of Application For A Club Premises Certificate

Premises: MP Cricket Academy Sports Ground, New Barn, Kingsey Road, Thame, OX9 3JL.

Notice is given that MP Cricket Academy has applied to South Oxfordshire District Council for a Club Premises Certificate under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003.

The proposed licensable activities are: Films, Indoor Sports Events, Recorded and Live Music, Alcohol. The hours will be from 8:00am to 12:00am - Monday to Sunday.

Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application must give notice in writing to: Licensing Team, South Oxfordshire District Council, Abbey House, Abbey Close, Abingdon, 0X14 3JE or email to: licensing@southoxon.gov.uk.

Representations must be received by the 10th October 2025.

The application record may be viewed during normal office hours at the above address, or on the Council's website at: www.southoxon.gov.uk.

Date of Notice: 16th September 2025. It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is level 5 on the standard scale (unlimited amount).
