APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an application for a Premises Licence under the above-mentioned legislation has been made by Live Nation (Music) UK Ltd to City of Lincoln Council in respect of premises to be known as Lincoln Castle Event Site situated at Lincoln Castle, Castle Hill, Lincoln LN1 3AA
The proposed licensed activity to be carried on at the premises is as follows: Regulated entertainment in the form of plays; film exhibitions; live and recorded music; dance performance and activities of a similar description to live and recorded music and dance performance and the sale and supply of alcohol all from 11.00 to 23.00 each day, and for late night refreshment from 23.00 to 00.00 each day.
The licence if granted to have effect for a maximum of 12 event days in 2026 and a maximum of 14 event days each year from 2027 onwards, to take place between the months of June and August and for a maximum audience capacity of 5,999. The existing Premises Licence for Lincoln Castle Event Site (32UD/B/3984) will be surrendered if the licence is granted in the terms appled for.
The record of applications may be inspected at the offices of The Licensing Team, Communities & Environment, City Hall, Beaumont Fee, Lincoln, LN1 1DD during normal office hours.
Any representations by a responsible authority or any other person regarding the application must be made in writing to the Licensing Team, Communities & Environment, City of Lincoln Council at the above address or by email to licensing@lincoln.gov.uk by 14 October 2025 at the latest and state clearly the grounds on which they are relevant to the Licensing Act 2003.
It is an offence, liable on summary conviction to a fine of any amount, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with the application.
