What is proposed?

Licensing Act 2003

An application has been made by Pontypridd Town Council to the Licensing Authority for Rhondda Cynon Taf for the grant of a Premises Licence for the Christmas Lights Switch on Event at Mill Street, Market Street and Taff Street, Pontypridd on 21st November 2025.

The application includes proposals to provide regulated entertainment.

The application can be viewed at the offices of the Licensing Authority, at Ty Elai, Dinas lsaf East, Williamstown, Tonypandy, CF40 1NY.

Interested parties (e.g. people living in the vicinity) or responsible authorities (e.g. Police and Fire Brigade) can make representations at any time between 18th September and 16th October. All representations must be made in writing (including e-mail or fax.)

lt is an offence for anyone to recklessly or knowingly make a false statement in connection with a licensing application. The maximum fine of conviction is £5000.
