What is proposed?

NOTICE OF AN APPLICATION FOR
THE GRANT OF A PREMISES LICENCE
THE LICENSING ACT 2003

Notice is hereby given that we, MTR1 Limited have applied
to Durham County Council in respect of the premises
known as: Londis West Rainton, Chapel View, West
Rainton, Houghton le Spring, DH4 6RS. For the grant of a
Premises Licence to permit the following licensable
activities: Sale by retail of alcohol (off sales only) 09.00 -
22.00 hrs Monday to Sunday inclusive. The opening hours
will be 07.00 – 22.00hrs Monday to Sunday inclusive.
Conditions will apply. A record of this application may be
inspected at the Council’s offices at Annand House, John
Street North, Meadowfield, Durham, DH7 8RS by
appointment, on weekdays between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm.

writing by the 17th October 2025 and sent to:-

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false
statement in connection with an application and the
maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary
conviction for the offence is unlimited.
