What is proposed?

NOTICE OF LICENCE APPLICATION 
Under the Licensing Act 2003 Section 17

Star of The Sea Culture CIC have applied to Cyngor Sir Ceredigion County Council for a Premises License on the 23/09/25 for Star of the Sea, Borth High Street, Borth, SY24 5JF.  

We seek to Licence the following activities: Plays, dance, live music, recorded music, films, mixed media performances and the sale of alcohol. Monday to Wednesdays and Sundays 12:00-23:00 Thursday-Saturdays 12:00-1:00  

The application is available for inspection by request made to: The Licensing Section, Ceredigion County Council, County Hall, Aberaeron, Ceredigion SA46 0AT, by email: publicprotection@ceredigion.gov.uk or telephone: 01545 572 179  

Any responsible authority or other person wishing to make representations in respect of this application should do so in writing to the Licensing Section at the above address or by e-mail to publicprotection@ceredigion.gov.uk by midnight on 20/10/25   

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and a person guilty of an offence is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale.
