LICENSING ACT 2003 NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A PREMISES LICENCE UNDER SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given that on the 12th September 2025 Asda Stores Limited applied to Manchester City Council for a variation of the Premises Licence in respect of premises Asda Express 51 Charles Street Manchester M1 7DF. The proposed variation is ;- 1. To amend the opening hours and alcohol sales hours to 24 hours. 2. To amend conditions to require that the premises are closed to the public between midnight and 06.00 with all sales between those hours being to service delivery orders only. NOTE; These premises are currently closed to the public between midnight and 06.00. This application affects the times permitted for alcohol sales by way of delivery only. The premises will remain closed to the public between midnight and 06.00. Any representations by a responsible authority or any other person regarding this application must be received in writing by:- Licensing Authority, Manchester City Council, Premises Licensing, Level 1 Town Hall Extension, Albert Square, Manchester, PO Box 532, M60 2LA or by email to premises.licensing@ manchester.gov.uk no later than 10th October 2025 stating the grounds for representations. 
The register of Manchester City Council the record of the application may be inspected at the above office by appointment only. For further details email premises.licensing@manchester. gov.uk It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
