Application for variation of a Premises Licence
Star Pubs Trading Limited has applied to Dacorum Borough
Council to vary a Premises Licence, in respect of the
following premises: The Grapes, Green End Road, Hemel
Hempstead, HP1 1QR. The nature of the variation is as
follows: Amend the licensing plan in accordance with the
drawing which accompanies the variation and to permit the
sale of alcohol from an external bar servery. Amend the
existing non-standard timing for New Year’s Eve/Day hours
as detailed within the variation. Remove certain existing
Annex 2 conditions as detailed within the variation. A copy
of this application may be inspected during normal office
hours at: Licensing, Dacorum Borough Council, The
Forum, Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead, HP1 1DN,
or via the licensing authority’s website, at
A responsible authority or any other person may make
representations to the licensing authority in respect of this
application. Representations must be made in writing, either
by post to the above address, or by email to
and must be received no later
than 10 October 2025.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false
statement in connection with a licensing application, and
the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary
conviction for that offence shall not exceed level 5 on the
standard scale.
