What is proposed?
Licensing Act 2003 Premises Licence New
We, The Florist of Bere Ltd, hereby give notice that we have applied on 11 September 2025 to Winchester City Council as the Licensing Authority for the Grant of a Premises Licence New for the premises known as: St Margarets, Hambledon Road, Denmead, Waterlooville, Hampshire, PO7 6NU
The purpose of the application is to provide licensable activities as detailed below:-
Supply of Alcohol*
*For Consumption off the premises
Monday to Thursday 0800 to 2000
Friday 0800 to 1800
Saturday 0800 to 1730
Sunday 1000 to 1600
Alcohol will be sold off-premises only, as part of pre-packaged floral gift sets (e.g. prosecco with anniversary bouquets). No alcohol will be consumed on-site.
Any person who wishes to submit representations in connection with this application should send their representations in writing to: Licensing Manager, Winchester City Council, City Offices, Colebrook Street, Winchester SO23 9LJ, to arrive by 9 October 2025; details of representations received will be forwarded to the applicants to enable them to comment. The representations received and the applicants' comments will be taken into account in determining the application. Relevant representations will be forwarded to the applicant and published on the Council's website.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application and that person is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding Level 5 on the Standard Scale.
