We Watergate Bay Hotel Ltd give notice that we have applied to Cornwall Council as Licensing Authority for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of a temporary ice rink within the car park at Watergate Bay Hotel, Watergate Bay, Newquay, Cornwall, TR8 4AA

The application is to: allow the supply of alcohol as part of the food and beverage offering within the temporary ice rink.

The supply of alcohol standard times will be daily between the hours of 11:00 - 21:30.

A responsible authority or other person wishing to make representations to this application may do so by writing to the Licensing Team, Cornwall Council, New County Hall, Truro TR1 3AY or email licensing@cornwall.gov.uk not later than 13th October 2025.

A record of the application can be viewed at the Licensing Authority’s address Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays) by prior appointment. Details are also at www.cornwall.gov.uk by searching ‘List of current premises licence applications’.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with this application, the maximum fine on summary conviction being £5000.
