APPLICATION FOR NEW PREMISES LICENCE

We Jazz Cafe Property Limited have applied to NEWHAM COUNCIL for a premises licence for: Jazz Café presents The Rex 361-373 High Street Stratford, London, E15 4QZ, so that the following licensable activities may be provided on the following days and hours: Plays, Films, Live music, Recorded music, Performance of dance, Anything of a similar description and Sale by retail of alcohol Sunday-Wednesday 10:00-02:00 (following day) and Thursday-Saturday 10:00-04:00 (following day) and late night refreshment Sunday-Wednesday 23:00-02:00 (following day) and Thursday-Saturday 23:00-04:00 (following day) on such conditions and such other times as set out in the application.

Newham Council’s Licensing Register is kept at the office of the Licensing Team, East Ham Town Hall, Barking Road, East Ham, E6 2RP, open 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday. 020 3373 1925, where details of the application may be inspected, any queries should be sent to licensing@newham.gov.uk. Any representations against the application must be made in writing and received by the Licensing Team at the above address, by no later than the 09/10/2025. Individuals, businesses and other bodies may make representations in relation to the application. Representations must be relevant and can only be on the licensing objectives of the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance, and the protection of children from harm. Copies of all representations will be sent to the applicant. Persons making representations will have to appear at the Council’s Licensing Sub-Committee.

Note: It is an offence, liable on conviction to a fine up to £5000 for anyone knowingly or recklessly making a false statement in connection with the application.
