What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003: APPLICATION FOR VARIATION OF PREMISES LICENCE 

Name of Applicant: Oxford Hotels & Inns Management Limited 

Postal Address of Premises: Cricketers Arms, 170 Milton Road, Widnes, Cheshire, WA8 7JP 

Brief description of the proposed variation: Amend the licensing plan in accordance with the drawing which accompanies the variation and to permit the sale of alcohol from an external bar servery 

Remove the provision of facilities for making music and provision of facilities for dancing as these are no longer licensable activities 

Extend the opening hours to allow the premises to open on Sunday from 10:00 Extend the start time for the sale of alcohol on Sunday to 10:00 

Remove all existing Annex 2 conditions, save for the Seasonal and Non-Standard Timings to remain on the Premises Licence; and add a new condition as detailed in the variation

Any interest party or responsible authority may make representations in writing to the relevant licensing authority by: 10th October 2025 

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is level 5 on the standard scale.
