Notice of application for the grant of a Premises
Licence under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that Heron Foods Limited has
applied to Northumberland County Council for the grant of
a Premises Licence in respect of premises to be known as
Heron Foods, 1-11 Queen Street, Amble, NE65 0BX. The
proposed licensable activities and their hours are the sale
of alcohol off the premises Monday to Saturday 08:00 to
21:00 and Sunday 10:00 to 16:00. The opening hours of the
premises will be Monday to Saturday 08:00 to 21:00 and
Sunday 10:00 to 16:00. Any representations by an interested
party or responsible authority regarding the abovementioned application must be received in writing and sent
to Licensing Department, Business Compliance & Public
Safety Unit, Public Protection Service, West Hartford
Business Park, Cramlington, Northumberland, NE23 3JP,
or by email to

later than 8 October 2025 stating the grounds for objection.
The register of Northumberland County Council and the
record of the application may be inspected at the address of
the council, given above Monday to Thursday 9:00a.m. to
4:30p.m and Friday 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false
statement in connection with an application. The maximum
fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for
the offence is unlimited.
