What is proposed?

Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Vue Entertainment Limited in respect of Premises known as Vue Cinema, The Venue, Cribbs Causeway Leisure Complex, Merlin Road, Bristol, BS10 7SR applied to South Gloucestershire District Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence. The proposed variation is to replace the registered plans and to permit structural changes to the layout of the premises to upgrade the seating within the auditoria. The upgrade to the seating will result in a lower seating capacity in each auditoria; to permit the showing of films 24 hours each day; to permit the provision of late-night refreshment from 2300 to 0500 each day; to permit the premises to be open to the public 24 hours each day, and to update the conditions within Annex 2.

Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by Licensing Service, South Gloucestershire Council, Department for Environment and Community Services, PO BOX 1954, Bristol, BS37 0DD or licensing@southglos.gov.uk no later than 8th October 2025 stating the grounds for representation. The register of South Gloucestershire Council and the record of the application may be inspected at South Gloucestershire Council, Licensing Service, Engine Common Lane, South Gloucestershire, BS37 7PN during normal business hours or if it is available on the council’s website at - www.southglos.gov.uk.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
