What is proposed?

Licensing Act 2003 - Advertisement for a premises licence to be granted

Notice is given that: VUR Village Trading No.1 Limited has applied to the Licensing Section for a premises licence at: 610 Centennial Avenue, Elstree, Borehamwood WD6 3TJ to permit the following licensable activities: The operation of a conference and events space that will have the ability to sell alcohol for consumption on or off the premises, along with licensable activities listed in the application including live and recorded music, the display of films, and performance of dance in the premises between 07:00 and 02:00 the next day, Monday to Sunday inclusive. Also, late night refreshment between 23:00 and 02:00 the next day from Monday to Sunday inclusive, and will be open to the public between 06:00 and 03:00 the next day, Monday to Sunday inclusive. Dated: 1st September 2025 Anyone wishing to oppose this application must give notice in writing to: The Licensing Officer, Hertsmere Borough Council, Civic Offices, Elstree Way, Borehamwood, Herts WD6 1WA or email: licensing.services@hertsmere.gov.uk within 28 days of the date of this notice, specifying the grounds of opposition, by 29th September 2025. Records of the application may be inspected by appointment only and are kept by the licensing officer at the address above. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. To do so could result in prosecution and a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale.
