Sandhill, Quayside - Application to Vary a Premises Licence
What is proposed?
Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that Vaulkhard Leisure Limited in respect of premises known as Red House, Bob Trollop and Hop & Cleaver, 32-42 Sandhill, Quayside, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 3JF, applied to Newcastle City Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence.
The proposed variation is to seek approval of the plan submitted with the application, which can be viewed upon request, to make the following alterations to the Hop & Cleaver area: Removal of a booth seating area to be back of house cellar store; Removal of banquette seating to install a new bar along the back wall; and Seating configuration changes within all areas.
Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application for variation must give notice in writing to:- Licensing Authority, Newcastle City Council, Public Safety and Regulation, Civic Centre, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 8QH or by email to licensing@newcastle.gov.uk. Representations must be received by 6 October 2025.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
