Penhill Projects Ltd Does hereby give notice that on 01 September 2025 served application on the Licensing Authority, Adur District Council, for a Variation to the Premises Licence at: Bakkus – Taproom & Bottle Store, 84 South Street, Lancing, BN15 8AJ

The licence authorises the sale of alcohol for consumption on & off the premises.

The application seeks to vary the existing licence to increase the licensed area of the venue into the rear section of the building to include additional seating for around 32 guests inside and 24 outside with new toilets, stock area, and a small bottle bar.

No other changes are sought.

Any person who desires to make objection to the said grant should set out, in writing, a brief statement of the grounds of his/her objection and email to: licensing.unit@adur-worthing.gov.uk or send to: The Licensing Unit, Adur & Worthing Councils, Town Hall, Chapel Road, Worthing, BN11 1HA

Representations must reach the Licensing Unit no later than: 29th September 2025

Information as to the date of any hearing required to determine the application may be obtained from the Adur & Worthing Councils’ Licensing Unit.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is £5,000
