Notice of Application

for the grant of a premises licence under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that I/WE, The Sweet Potato Spirit Company Ltd, have applied to Watford Borough Council for the grant of a premises licence in respect of premises to be known as The Sweet Potato Spirit Company at LM8, 201, The Harlequin, Watford, Herts. WD17 2UB.

The proposed licensable activities are:

Retail sale of alcohol Off the premises only: Monday to Sunday from 09:00 until 21:00 hrs, Opening hours, Mon - Sat from 09:00-20:00hrs Sun to 17:00, Seasonal to 21:00.

Any person wishing to make representations in relation to this application may do so by writing to: Watford Licensing Authority, Town Hall, Watford WD17 3EX or by Email licensing@watford.gov.uk

no later than 26 September 2025 that is 28 days after the date of the valid application, stating the grounds for the representation.

The register and the record of this application may be inspected at the Watford Borough Council offices at the address given above during normal business hours.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
