What is proposed?

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A VARIATION OF A PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that We, Greene King Brewing & Retailing Limited have applied to Stockport Metropolitan District Council on 02nd September 2025 for a variation to a premises licence to use the premises at: The Carousel, 156-158 Reddish Road, South Reddish, Stockport, SK5 7HR.

To vary the licensing plan for refurbishment works to improve internal and external drinking areas. To upgrade the WC’s requiring minor alterations to the lobby area leading to the WC’s. For full details please refer to the licensing plan.

Any part of the variation application that changes the plan/layout of the premises to be of no effect until the work has been completed.

Any person who wishes to make a representation in relation to this application must give notice in writing by 30th September 2025 stating the grounds for making said representation to: The Licensing Officer (2003), 4th Floor, Stopford House, Stockport, SK1 3XE or by email to licensing2003@stockport.gov.uk

A record of the application may be viewed by appointment at the council offices: Stopford House, Stockport, SK1 3XE.

The Licensing Authority must receive representations by the date given above. The Licensing Authority will have regard to any such representation in considering the application. It is an offence, under section 158 of the LicensingAct 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in or in connection with an application for premises licence and the maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
