What is proposed?
NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR NEW PREMISES LICENCE UNDER THE LICENSING ACT 2003
NOTICE IS GIVEN THAT Quecon Gloucester CIC t/a Proud Gloucester Trading at: 48-50 Kings Walk, Gloucester, GL1 1RX has applied to Gloucester City Council for a New Premises Licence for Supply of Alcohol (Mondays - Thursdays 12pm-11pm, Fridays & Saturdays 12pm-1am, Sundays 12pm-12am); Live Music & Dance Performances (Thursday 5pm-11pm, Fridays & Saturdays 12pm-1am, Sundays 12pm-12am) and Recorded Music (Mondays - Thursdays 9am-11pm, Fridays & Saturdays 9am-1am, Sundays 10am-12am).
Extensions of all of the above to 3am on Pride Day and New Years Eve.
ANYONE WISHING TO OPPOSE THE APPLICATION MUST GIVE NOTICE IN WRITING TO THE LICENSING AUTHORITY, Gloucester City Council, Eastgate Management Suite, Eastgate Street, Gloucester, GL1 1PA OR BY EMAIL TO licensing@gloucester.gov.uk WITHIN 28 DAYS OF 29th August 2025, SPECIFYING THE GROUNDS OF OPPOSITION.
THE APPLICATION CAN ALSO BE VIEWED AT THE ABOVE ADDRESS DURING OFFICE HOURS BY APPOINTMENT.
IT IS AN OFFENCE KNOWINGLY OR RECKLESSLY TO MAKE A FALSE STATEMENT IN CONNECTION WITH AN APPLICATION.
THE MAXIMUM FINE FOR WHICH A PERSON IS LIABLE ON SUMMARY CONVICTION FOR THE OFFENCE IS £5000.
Persons objecting to the grant of licence must be prepared to attend in person at a hearing before a committee of the Council.
