What is proposed?

PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that The Forbidden Corner Ltd has applied in respect of The Forbidden Corner, Tupgill Park Estate, Coverham, Middleham, DL8 4TJ for the Variation of a Premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to allow for:

  • The building previously known as the "Potting Shed" to be renamed "The White Goose";
  • Extension of licensed hours for this building to 11:00 - 22:00;
  • Addition of an area to the premises layout for outdoor dining;
  • Addition of an outdoor area (the herb garden) for guests to look around before or after a meal, where no drinks will be sold.

Representations to this application must be made in writing by 18th September 2025 to the Licensing Team, North Yorkshire Council, County Hall, Boroughbridge Road, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL7 8AD or by email to licensing.ham@northyorks.gov.uk, where the application can be inspected during office hours.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person guilty of such an offence is liable on summary conviction to a fine of any amount.
