NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO
VARY A PREMISES LICENCE
UNDER THE GAMBLING ACT 2005

Notice is hereby given that MERKUR Casino
Entertainment UK Limited of the following address:
Second Floor, Matrix House, North Fourth Street, Milton
Keynes, MK9 1NJ is applying under Section 187 of the
Gambling Act 2005 to vary a Large Casino Premises
Licence issued under that Act. The application relates to the
following premises: MERKUR Casino, Ground Floor, Unit
19, 602 Marlborough Gate, Central Milton Keynes, MK9
3XA. The application is to vary the licence as follows: To
vary the layout of the premises and update the licensed
areas to accommodate internal alterations, refurbishment
and updated gambling areas. Works include relocation of
internal walls, changes to the entrance to the premises and
creation of a new central bar area. Also to remove an
obsolete condition relating to premises inspection upon
original grant of the premises licence.
The application has been made to: Regulatory Advice and
Licensing Team, Milton Keynes Council, Civic Offices,

Information about the
application is available from the Licensing Authority,
including the arrangements for viewing the details of the
application. Any of the following persons may make
representations in writing to the Licensing Authority about
the application: A person who lives sufficiently close to the
premises to be likely to be affected by the authorised
activities; A person who has business interests that might
be affected by the authorised activities; A person who
represents someone in any of the above two categories. Any
representations must be made by the following date: 18th
September 2025
It is an offence under Section 342 of the Gambling Act
2005 if a person, without reasonable excuse, gives to a
Licensing Authority for a purpose connected with the
Act, information which is false or misleading.
