NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A PREMISES LICENCE UNDER THE LICENSING ACT 2003

What is proposed?

Notice is hereby given that an application has been made by Genting Casinos UK Limited in respect of premises known as Resorts Wor! Casino located at National Exhibition Site, Resorts World Birmingham, Solihull, B40 1PU to Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council on 21 August 2025 for the variation of a premises licence. This application is for approval of revised premises licence plans and to extend the boundary of the premises licence to re-incorporate part of the first floor (currently forming part of the High Line Bar & Lounge) as shown on the plans accompanying this application to re-form part of the Casinos hospitality facilities including bar servery and lounge to be used for non-gamblng purposes. Alterations also include changes to the customer entrance an the opening up of the casino into the re-extended area. This application does not propose to make any changes to existing conditions, licensable activities or hours which are authorised under the current premises licence. Full details of the variation are contained within the application form held by Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, Licensing eam, The Core, Theatre Square, Homer Road, €lihull B9| 3RG where the licensing register can be inspected during the Authoriys normal opening hours or online by visiting their website www.solihull gov.uk.

Any representations by a responsible authority or other person regarding the above-mentioned application must be made in writing to The Licensing Authority at the above address or to licensing@solihull gov.uk no later than 18th September 2025, stating the grounds upon which the representation is being made.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum financial penalty on summary conviction is unlimited.
