What is proposed?
Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under
Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that Merkur Casino Entertainment
UK Limited in respect of Premises known as Merkur
Casino, Ground Floor, Unit 19, 602 Marlborough Gate,
Central Milton Keynes, MK9 3XA applied to Licensing
Authority for a Variation of a Premises Licence. The
proposed variation is to approve internal alterations at the
premises to include removal of some walls and fixed
furniture to open the public area and reconfiguring the
reception area, such alterations to take effect upon the
completion of works as notified to the Licensing Authority
in writing. Also to remove a condition relating to Licensing
Authority being satisfied with the terms of the licence (old
condition) as agreed with the authority. Any representations
regarding the above-mentioned application must be
received in writing by email to
keynes.gov.uk or by post to Licensing Team, Milton Keynes
Council, Regulatory Services, Civic, 1 Saxon Gate East,
Milton Keynes, MK9 3EJ no later than 16th September
2025 stating the grounds for representation. Full details of
the application can be viewed via The Licensing Register
at Civic. This is accessible Mondays to Thursday between
the hours of 9am to 5pm, and Fridays 9am to 4pm
(excluding bank holidays) or online at
keynes.gov.uk/licensing
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false
statement in connection with an application. A person is
liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false
statement be made.
