What is proposed?

Notice of application for the Grant of a Premises Licence

under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that I/We Tessa Pemberton have applied to Westmorland & Furness Council for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of premises of to be known as The Parochial Church Council of the Ecclesiastical Parish of Cartmel Cartmel Priory Cartmel Cumbria LA11 6QD.

The proposed licensable activities are: Sale of alcohol between 10:00 to 23:15 hours, seven days a week. Any representations regarding the above mentioned application must be received in writing by Licensing Team Westmorland & Furness Council, South Lakeland House, Lowther Street, Kendal, Cumbria, LA9 4DQ or e-mail licensing@westmorlandandfurness.gov.uk no later than 14th September 2025 stating the grounds for the representation. The register and the record of this application may be inspected at the Westmorland & Furness Council office at the address given above between 10:00 – 16:00 Monday to Friday or on the council’s website – www.westmorlandandfurness.gov.uk

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
