What is proposed?

NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNCIL LICENSING ACT 2003 NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE

Premises: Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, York, YO62 4ER. Notice is given that St Laurence Education Trust has applied to North Yorkshire Council Licensing Authority for a Premises Licence under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003.

The Licensable activities are:

Sale of alcohol (on supplies) Daily - 10:30-23:00

Annual Leavers Ball 18:00-01:00

Live & recorded music

Annual Leavers Ball - 18:00-01:00

Late night refreshments

Annual Leavers Ball - 23:00-01:00

Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application must give notice in writing to: North Yorkshire Council, Licensing Department, Ryedale House, Old Malton Road, Malton YO17 7HH or by email to licensing.rye@northyorks.gov.uk. Representations must be received by the date below 3rd September 2025. The Application Record and Register may be viewed during normal office hours at the above address. It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the

offence is up to level 5 on the standard scale (£5000).
