What is proposed?

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR THE
GRANT OF A PREMISES LICENCE
UNDER THE LICENSING ACT 2003
NOTICE is given that SME Environmental
Holdings Ltd has applied to Rotherham
Metropolitan Borough Council for the grant of a
Premises Licence in respect of The Empire
Theatre, 8-13 Ship Hill, Rotherham S60 1PY.
The application seeks consent to allow the Sale
of Alcohol and the Provision of Regulated
Entertainment and Late Night Refreshment on
every day of the week between 12:00 hours and
04:00 hours on the following day.
It is open to any person to make representations
to the application. Representations, which can
be for or against the application, should be
delivered to the Licensing Manager, Riverside
House, Main Street, Rotherham, S60 1AE or
emailed to licensing@rotherham.gov.uk
The last date for the receipt of representations is
5
th September 2025.
Any person wishing to view the Licensing
Register may do so by visiting the Council’s
website, www.rotherham.gov.uk/licensing
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make
a false statement in connection with an
application and on summary conviction would be
liable to an unlimited fine.
