Bradgate Landfill Site, Leicester - Application To Vary A Full Licence To Abstract (Take) Water

Notice of application to vary a full licence to abstract (take) water
FCC Environment (UK) Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application, in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to vary licence serial number MD/028/0056/004 which authorises the abstraction of groundwater (South Charnwood Diorite) at Bradgate Landfill Site, Leicester at National Grid Reference SK 51234 08863 for the purpose of dewatering.
The variation applied for is to increase abstraction quantities to:
• 5 cubic metres an hour • 103 cubic metres per day
• 20,000 cubic metres a year.
